Summary
Decision No. 05/2023/QD-UBND, issued by the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province on 3 March 2023, promulgates the provincial Regulations on management of municipal solid waste (MSW). The Decision takes effect on 15 March 2023 and attaches the full text of the Regulations. The Regulations implement relevant provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection, Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP and Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT and apply to organizations, households and individuals engaged in generation, separation, collection, transport and treatment of MSW within Tien Giang province. Provincial and local authorities, departments, communes and entrusted waste collection entities are tasked with enforcement.
