A leading FDI and manufacturing centre with extensive industrial zones, alongside agriculture and aquaculture. In the 2025 merger it expanded by absorbing the former Bình Phước province.

Summary
Decision No. 08/2025/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province promulgates provincial regulations on management of solid waste and enters into force on 15 March 2025. The Decision is issued pursuant to the Law on Organization of Local Government (2015), related amendments (2019), the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (2015, amended 2020), the Law on Environmental Protection (2020), Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP and Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT, and replaces Decision No. 14/2013/QD-UBND dated 12 April 2013.
