Directive No. 06/2001/CT-NHNN, issued by the State Bank of Vietnam, provides uniform guidance to credit institutions and branches on the provision of new loans to continue care and maintenance of coffee trees in the Central Highlands provinces of Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak and Lam Dong. The Directive applies to the State Bank's provincial branches, commercial banks, cooperative banks, credit cooperatives and other credit institutions operating in these provinces, and to borrowers who hold coffee plots in need of continued tending.
