Organized by the Fulbright Program Vietnam and the Health & Agricultural Research Institute, the Fulbright Scholarship Information Session for 2020-2021 Academic Year was held at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City on January 10th, 2020.
The Fulbright Program was founded in 1964 and funded by US Congress. with the purpose to establish and develop a strong and long-term relationship between the US and other countries through education and culture exchange. Scholarships for Vietnamese to study for a master’s degree in the US is one of the annual activities of this program with approximately 20 grant holders each year.
During the session, more than 50 students and interested candidates were introduced to the program, procedure, criteria and how to make an online application by Mrs. Hạnh Nguyễn, Fulbright Program Officers.
Notably, at the end of the session, two Fulbright grantees, Ms. Quỳnh Nguyễn from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Mr. Định Nguyễn - HAPRI's research associate, from previous years also shared their precious experiences and personal story of why and how did they applied for the scholarship.
