This decision of the Gia Lai Province People's Committee (signed by Chairman Võ Ngọc Thành) issues a regulation on compensating crop damage when the State recovers land, applicable for 2021. It is grounded in the 2013 Land Law and related legislation. The regulation provides the rules and price schedule for valuing damaged annual and perennial crops in the province.

• Annual crops are compensated based on the highest yield over the three preceding years (per district statistics) and the average price at the time of recovery.

• Perennial crops, fruit trees, medicinal plants, flowers, and ornamentals are compensated per an attached appendix; high-quality grafted or new fruit varieties receive 1.2 times the standard rate.

• Sets special rules for pepper-vine support posts and for forestry trees, distinguishing concentrated planted forest from scattered trees not meeting forest criteria.

• Applies to land-management agencies, compensation and site-clearance bodies, land users under Article 5 of the 2013 Land Law, and other related parties.

• The attached appendix lists per-tree (or per-area) compensation amounts across roughly 90+ crop and tree types by growth stage.

Provincial in scope (Gia Lai), applicable for 2021; effective from 30 May 2021 and terminates the effect of Decision No. 342/QĐ-UBND of 26 May 2016 on crop and produce compensation prices.
