This Decision was issued on 31 December 2025 by the Cần Thơ City People's Committee to set unit prices for compensating crops and livestock when the State recovers land. It implements Article 103 of the 2024 Land Law together with Decree No. 88/2024/NĐ-CP and Decree No. 226/2025/NĐ-CP, providing the official compensation price basis for the city.

• Sets compensation unit prices for annual crops (Appendix I) and perennial crops including fruit trees, timber and non-timber forest species, and ornamental plants (Appendix II).

• Sets aquaculture compensation prices for grow-out stock (Appendix III), juveniles/seed (Appendix IV), and broodstock (Appendix V), with detailed per-square-metre figures.

• Provides special rules for certified elite mother trees (1.5x price), over-density orchards, hedge and potted ornamental plants, and irrigation/trellis materials.

• Addresses swiftlet (yến) nest compensation based on annual nest output, and case-by-case valuation for other immovable livestock.

• Details aquaculture compensation by share of crop cycle completed (30%/40%/50% tiers), with bonuses for high-tech or supply-chain-linked farms and reduced rates for movable stock.

• Applies to land-management agencies, compensation and resettlement bodies, land users, and crop and livestock owners.

Applies city-wide in Cần Thơ, effective from 1 January 2026. It repeals Cần Thơ Decision No. 34/2024/QĐ-UBND and, reflecting administrative mergers, the former Hậu Giang Decision No. 45/2024/QĐ-UBND and Sóc Trăng Decision No. 47/2024/QĐ-UBND, and annuls Article 4 and Appendix II of Cần Thơ Decision No. 18/2024/QĐ-UBND.
