People's Committee of Cà Mau Province
Vietnam's southernmost province, a low-lying coastal Delta region ringed by mangrove forests; population about 1.2 million (2024). Its economy is dominated by shrimp aquaculture and fisheries, the Cà Mau gas–power–fertiliser complex, and mangrove forestry. In the 2025 merger it expanded by absorbing the former Bạc Liêu province.

Summary
Decision No. 07/2024/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Ca Mau Province, dated 28 March 2024, promulgates the provincial Regulations on waste management and implementation of incentive and support policies for waste management activities in Ca Mau. The Decision takes effect on 10 April 2024 and replaces Decision No. 05/2017/QD-UBND of 28 March 2017 on management of municipal solid waste. The Regulation is issued pursuant to the Law on Organization of Local Government, the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents, the Law on Environmental Protection 2020, Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP and Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT, and applies to state agencies, organizations, communities, households and individuals engaged in activities governed by the listed provisions of the Environmental Protection Law, excluding radioactive waste.
