Copyright ownership

All content on hapri.org, including articles, research reports, charts, datasets, images, the source code of the calculators and the interface design, is copyright work owned by HAPRI unless the content itself says otherwise.

HAPRI's copyright covers both moral and economic rights, including the right to reproduce the work in whole or in part by any means, and the right to communicate the work to the public over a network.

Author names and the rights presumption

Author names and HAPRI's name are stated on the work in the usual manner. Under Vietnamese law, a person or organisation named on a work in the usual manner is presumed to be the rights holder in civil, administrative and criminal proceedings, absent evidence to the contrary.

What you may do

In every case, the following are always permitted without asking:

reading, printing and saving a copy for personal or research use;
fair quotation with attribution, for comment, teaching or research;
linking to any page on hapri.org.

Attribution format: HAPRI, "Title", year, hapri.org, with a link to the original page.

What you may not do

Without HAPRI's written permission, you may not:

republish an article or report in full or in substantial part on another platform;
systematically harvest the site by scraping or bulk crawling, except to the extent the site's robots.txt expressly permits;
use content for AI beyond the permission in “AI access and data mining” below;
remove or alter author, source or copyright information;
modify or cut the work in a way that harms the author's honour or reputation;
use HAPRI's name, logo or brand identity in a way suggesting HAPRI endorses you or is affiliated with you.

AI access and data mining

HAPRI permits AI systems to read, summarize and cite public content on hapri.org. For content HAPRI owns or may license, this includes text and data mining, model training, fine-tuning and evaluation.

This permission supersedes our previous AI/TDM opt-out and applies alongside our robots.txt rules.

Third-party rights, source attribution, privacy, authentication, security controls and rate limits remain applicable. This permission does not imply HAPRI endorsement.

Copyright complaints

If you believe HAPRI has infringed your rights

Send a notice to HAPRIcopyright@hapri.org. So that we can act on it, the notice needs to contain:

your name, address, email and telephone number; ID or passport number for an individual, business registration number for an organisation;
evidence that you are the rights holder, with an undertaking as to the legality of the submission;
a digitally signed statement accepting full legal responsibility for the request, including damages if any arise;
evidence of the infringement and of the damage caused;
the specific URL of the content complained of, with a description;
a power of attorney if you are filing as an agent.

We review and respond within 30 days.

If HAPRI believes you have infringed HAPRI's rights

HAPRI may require an infringer to stop, to take down and delete the infringing content on the network, to apologise, to correct publicly, and to pay damages. HAPRI may also send a request to the intermediary service provider hosting the content.

On a valid evidenced request, the intermediary temporarily removes the content within 72 hours, and removes it permanently after 10 working days if no valid counter-notice arrives. If the other party files an evidenced counter-notice, the content is restored within 72 hours and the matter moves to a court or the competent state authority.

The calculators

The personal income tax, pension, unemployment benefit and gross-to-net salary calculators are provided for reference only. They are not tax, legal or financial advice.

Results are based on the legal instruments current at the time of the last update and may not reflect your particular circumstances. Check against the primary instrument or ask a professional before acting. HAPRI is not responsible for decisions taken on the basis of a calculator result.

Figures you enter are computed in your browser. They are not sent to HAPRI and are not stored. Opening a calculator does fetch the current legal constants (tax brackets, exchange rates) from HAPRI's server. Like any web request, it carries your IP address, but nothing you typed.

External links and governing law

hapri.org links to third-party websites. HAPRI does not control and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. Disputes are resolved before the competent Vietnamese authority.

Governing language

This page is published in Vietnamese and English. The Vietnamese text governs for this page and for the Privacy and Personal Data Notice; the English is provided for convenience. Where the two differ, the Vietnamese prevails.
