The ministry for science, technology and innovation, managing R&D policy, intellectual property, standards and metrology, atomic energy and the national innovation system. In the 2025 reorganisation it absorbed most of the former Ministry of Information and Communications — telecommunications, IT, the digital economy, digital transformation and postal services.
