Resolution No. 08/2013/NQ-HDND, adopted by the Provincial People's Council, approves a scheme to support development of cold-climate coffee cultivation in the mountainous districts of Dak Glei, Tu Mo Rong and Kon Plong. The Resolution sets the scope, objectives, beneficiaries, implementation contents, budget sources, responsibility for coordination, and monitoring responsibilities for the scheme. The scheme aims to convert and expand coffee production areas suitable to cold-climate conditions, improve productivity and quality, apply technical and processing advances, and create sustainable livelihoods while protecting the environment and stabilising land use for local households and cooperatives.
