Dinh Nguyen-Xuan is Advisor to the Director at HAPRI since February 2020 (on leave since 2022) and Projects and Data Management Officer in the Financial Institutions Division, Statistics Department at the International Monetary Fund. With MSc in Applied Economics from George Washington University, USA, he coauthored Fintech, a Catalyst for Financial Services Access, Innovation, and Growth in the Financial Access Survey (FAS) Annual Report (International Monetary Fund, 2025). His research focuses on policy analysis, health economics, impact valuation, poverty and trade, and outside his professional commitments he mentors students.
