In line with the Planning Law, the government's Resolution No. 120/NQ-CP dated November 17, 2017, on sustainable development of the Mekong Delta region in response to climate change, and the National Assembly Standing Committee's Resolution No. 751/2019/UBTVQH14 on national, regional, and provincial planning, preparations for the 2021-2030 planning period are underway. For the Mekong Delta region, the provincial planning for 12 out of the 13 provinces and cities, including Soc Trang, has been approved.
