This is a Decision issued by the Thừa Thiên Huế Province People's Committee on 18 December 2023 that sets crop unit prices used as the basis for determining compensation and support values when the State acquires land in the province during 2024. It is grounded in the 2013 Land Law and the Law on Prices, and was proposed by the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

• Sets crop compensation unit prices in an attached appendix covering annual crops, perennial crops (long-term food/fruit and industrial trees), timber/resin/shade trees grown in concentrated or scattered plantings, and ornamental, medicinal, and other plants.

• States that the compensation unit prices already include the cost of felling and transporting crops out of the recovered area, with the compensated party entitled to salvage the products.

• Provides that crops not listed in the appendix are valued by analogy to an equivalent species, subject to approval by the competent People's Committee.

• Applies to land users under the 2013 Land Law, land-management agencies, compensation and site-clearance bodies, and related organizations and individuals.

• Includes transitional rules so that compensation plans already approved before the effective date continue unchanged.

The Decision applies province-wide in Thừa Thiên Huế and was in force from 1 January 2024 through 31 December 2024.
