Decision No. 18/2010/QD-UBND, issued by the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, promulgates the Regulation on management and use of the Buon Ma Thuot geographical indication (GI) for Robusta green coffee beans (the Regulation). The Decision establishes objectives, scope, applicable subjects, responsibilities of competent authorities, and rules for use, protection, control, inspection and sanctions regarding the Buon Ma Thuot coffee GI. The Regulation applies within the geographical area defined for the Buon Ma Thuot GI and to organizations and individuals involved in production, processing, trade, labeling, advertising and certification of Robusta green coffee bearing the GI.
