Health and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (HAPRI) would like to respectfully invite lecturers/ researchers to come and share your experiences at the HAPRI seminar.
Presenter: Tran Thi Phu Duyen is a researcher at HAPRI and currently a Ph.D. student in Health Services Research at George Mason University. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics in Vietnam (UEH), and a Master of Public Policy with First Class Honors from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. Her research interests lie in Health Economics, focusing on retirement well-being and old-age insurance. Her papers have been published on BMC Global Health Research and Policy (2023) and Food Security (2005). Duyen is committed to conducting evidence-based research that informs health policy decisions in Vietnam and the United States. She aspires to advocate for Universal Health Coverage in both countries.
She’s also a Manaaki New Zealand scholar (2020), an Orange Knowledge Program scholar (2022), attended the YSEALI Academy Public Policy Seminar at Fulbright University VN (2023), and won the global essay competition to attend the prestigious 54th St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland (2025).
