About presenter:

Bach Ngoc Thang is an associate professor of economics at Institute for Sustainable Development, National Economics University, Hanoi, Vietnam. He is an associate editor at Singapore Economic Review, Journal of Asian Business and Economic Studies, and Ho Chi Minh City Open University Journal of Science – Economics and Business Administration. In 2014, he received Ph.D. in economics from The University of Queensland. He has active research programs in the fields of Economic Growth and Development, Governance, and SMEs. His research works have been published in a number of international academic journals, such as World Development, The Economics of Transition, The Journal of Development Studies, Public Administration and Development, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, The Developing Economies, among others.
